This coffee was grown by Takele Mammo Denbi, a new participant in the “Single Farmer Lots Program” which was developed in 2008 by Ethiopian Commodity Exchange allowing for full traceability back to the specific farmer. The requirements for acceptance into the program and continued participation are an adherence to a strict farming, milling, and drying protocol. Grade 1 coffees consist of the highest quality specialty coffee beans that are carefully sorted and have an intense aroma and complex taste with a range of flavors, including fruity acidity, well-balanced body and a complex flavor profile.
